Burnin' and Turnin'

Belated birthday sketch for cerulean-skies. I'm more or less pleased with the outcome. The legs and paws didn't turn out well, though. I was trying to experiment with them and messed it all up. So don't look at those. >.> And I hope it's obvious that is fire around the dragon-phoenix hybrid/whatever-kind-of-freak-this-is. Still can't draw fire. But after following Ealaain's advice, I think it looks better than my previous attempts. In any case, it is certainly better than this old thing. (Just noticed this new piece could pass for a re-make of that old one [it wasn't intended to be].) I also lost a bunch of details in this because my fat hand kept smudging it. >:I
