After the event with the softshell turtle, I was in a turtle mood, so I went around taking photos of my own turtles. Even though I have had these turtles for years, I could never get any clear shots of them -- and I took a lot of them! It's like the camera was cursed every time I got near those turtles with it. Of course, there are many angles I cannot get, either, because the bright neon paint on the turtles' shells does not look good (years ago, I painted neon numbers on their shells to tell them apart because so many of them look alike; that paint still
hasn't worn off entirely).
But alas, I was finally
able to get a clear picture. A little bit of the paint was still visible on the shell, but I was able to eliminate it with the clone stamp in Photoshop. Now you can't even tell where the paint was.
This is Sheila, the chief egg layer and only named turtle of the 20-something I have. She is a rather old (middle-aged, more likely) Florida box turtle who is very tame. And is it just me, or does it look like she's smiling in this picture? LOLPhoto: (me). DO NOT COPY, ALTER, OR STEAL IN ANY WAY! For if you do, I will surely find you, somehow, someway, and make you deeply regret it for the rest of your miserable lives! Mwa ha ha ha ha! Seriously, I will! La foto: (me). ˇNO IMITA, CAMBIA, O ROBA EN CUALQUIER CAMINO! ˇMwa ja ja ja ja!
